The deadline to apply for a regular mail ballot for the June 2, 2020 Presidential Preference Primary is tentatively 4 p.m. on May 19, 2020, pending an executive order from the Governor. The Rhode Island Secretary of State is planning to send a mail
ballot application in late April to all Rhode Island registered voters
who have not already applied for a mail ballot. Please contact our office with any questions. You can also receive a mail ballot application by calling our office at 401-780-3128 or downloading the application online at vote.ri.gov.
The June 2, 2020 Presidential Preference Primary will be an all-mail-ballot election. All voters who wish to cast a ballot should do so by mail.
Only limited vote centers will be open on June 2 for voters who missed
the mail ballot period or are unable to vote by mail; please be aware
that most regular polling locations will not be open for this primary.
