Playground Program:
The Department of Parks & Recreation provides a wide variety of programs for both children and adults.

Playground Program:
An eight-week playground program is available for children 6 to 12 years of age. This popular program, which runs Monday - Friday from 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM, includes supervision for activities that include bowling, roller skating, mini-golf, performers, and various trips that culminates with an end of the summer celebration. Registration begins in May for the 4 area playgrounds located around the City.

The program is staffed with high school and college age students who have shown responsibility and commitment through athletics, after school activities and community involvement. Playground counselors are certified in CPR and Playground Supervisors are CPR and First Aid certified.

The camp strives for a counselor to child ratio of approx. 1:5.
